Job Description
  • Directs all Information Systems personnel at TACLE, Mt. Juliet
  • Manages both internal and outsourced IT resources (vendors, consultants, etc.)
  • Participates in management meetings
  • Leads / manages the day-to-day operations of the information systems activities and projects. This includes monitoring of the production issues, coordinating activities with outsourced partners, reviewing / assessing database systems IT requests and maintaining our business continuity and disaster recovery plans
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organization and decision making skills necessary
  • Excellent team building, mentoring, teaching, and leadership skills required
  • Strong technical documentation skills
  • Prior experience with .Net development
  • Must have extensive hands on experience with MS SQL Server 2000 / 2005 / Transact-SQL and SQL Server DTS Packages
  • Responsible for developing a proficient knowledge of the data currently available in the databases
  • Responsible for working with IT business consultants, Enterprise and Data Architects, and end-users to analyze and document data needs
  • Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and DTS packages
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolution of database and application issues
  • Experience with Production Support
  • Ensure compliance with SOX and ISPM requirements
Required Skills
  • IBM iSeries (AS/400) operations and programming experience.
  • Moderate programming ability (IBM RPG IV and CL).
  • Network configuration and troubleshooting - Cisco
  • Firewall configuration, Routing, security practices
  • Fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated capacity to grasp technological concepts rapidly
  • Highly motivated and self-sufficient
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Consummate "TEAM" Player
  • Desire and ability to work in fast-paced environment and adaptable to change
    • Manufacturing experience (Automotive Mfg Experience will be preferred)
    • Ability to organize software, hardware, human and financial resources in order to achieve project goals.
On-call - This location is a two shift operation. A company-paid cell phone and laptop computer are provided for this purpose.
