Phil Thrasher – President
Phil Thrasher, Jr. graduated with "Distinction" from the University of Alabama in May 1997. There he received his Bachelors of Science degree majoring in marketing with an emphasis in international marketing. He minored in Spanish and computer science. Phil joined Hamilton-Ryker in April 2007 and oversees Hamilton-Ryker of Birmingham.
Phil got his start in the industry as a technical recruiter and worked his way up to Sales Manager at TEKsystems. He comes to Hamilton-Ryker with 10 years experience in IT Staffing. Having earned a great reputation for his knowledge of the staffing and recruitment arena, Phil possesses an expertise and consultative approach that will greatly benefit clients in the Birmingham market.
Away from the office, Phil enjoys playing flag football with a championship team, bowling in a weekly league, working in the yard, and spending time with his family. Phil and his wife and children are active members in their church. The family resides in Chelsea, AL.

A 1997 graduate of Auburn University with a degree in criminal justice, Mark Vines joined Hamilton-Ryker in 2007. Mark brings almost ten years of experience in the recruiting/staffing industry to his new position as Recruiting Director for Hamilton-Ryker of Birmingham.
As an avid sportsman, Mark enjoys playing flag football, basketball, softball and golf. A member of the Hunter Street Baptist Church choir, Mark and his wife Heather have two children, Madyson and Carter, and reside in Birmingham.

Tim Stanfield – Professional Recruiter
Tim Stanfield graduated for Auburn University in 1999 with a Bachelors of Science degree in health promotion. Joining Hamilton-Ryker in 2007, he brings a background in sales and advertising to his recruiting position.
Tim loves to play sports when time allows, involved in flag football, softball and golf. This passion also feeds another pastime, sports writing and publication. He has co-authored and published a book on Auburn sports, Through The Eyes Of A Tiger, and published Tales Of The Tide and A Vols Walk. Tim and his wife Laura reside in Chelsea, AL.

Sonya Stanley - Executive Recruiter
Sonya Stanley joined the Hamilton-Ryker team in 2005 as an Administrative Assistantin our Regional office. While working closely with the Sr. Vice President, Sonya had the opportunity to utilize the marketing skills that she brought with her from a previous career. Shortly after her 1 year anniversary with Hamilton-Ryker, Sonya accepted a promotion to Executive Recruiter. As one of Hamilton-Ryker's first headhunters in over a decade, Sonya helped The Hamilton-Ryker Group revisit its’ roots by working on professional direct placements. Sonya has since built a successful practice by recruiting solely in the engineering field.
Sonya is very active in the recruiting and business community, including involvement with theTennessee Recruiters Association, the Brentwood Cool Springs Chamber of Commerce, Women In Business, the Young Leaders Council, the Young Professionals of Nashville, GenTN, the Nashville Chamber of Commerce, and the Nashville Junior Chamber of Commerce. Sonya is also very passionate about her volunteer efforts with the March of Dimes – WalkAmerica and the Mental Health Association of Middle TN- Jammin' to Beat the Blues. She is very active in her church, the Cornerstone Church, and is the co-founder of "DEMAND ACTION", which is a non-profit organization uniting child advocates for change.
Sonya attended Riverside Community College inRiverside,CA, as a Dance & Choreography major. She still loves dance in all forms (ballroom, Latin, etc.), and enjoys teaching ballet to her daughter ballet and ballroom to her son. She is also an avid photographer. Sonya's greatest joys come from spending time with her son, Jace, and her daughter, Savannah, whom enjoy staying as active as their mom.
