SALARY: $52,000.00 – $62,400.00 per annum
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM (including a $2.50 per hour night shift differential for O/T)

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Independently oversee the production of quality parts on various machines, including the Machinist Mazak Integrex, with minimal supervision.
  • Set up, operate, and inspect parts to ensure they meet specific requirements and adhere to close tolerances for maximum efficiency.
  • Interpret drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine the dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, as well as sequence of operations and setup requirements.
  • Use precision measuring instruments and mark dimensions and reference points on materials or work pieces for machining.
  • Identify equipment malfunctions and make necessary adjustments within capabilities to maintain production quality; report all machine malfunctions to the immediate supervisor.
  • Aid in resolving complex operating issues and contribute to cost reduction projects.
  • Operate forklifts and lifting devices for the movement of parts.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area and perform basic preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Adhere to all Company Health, Safety, and Environmental rules.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, production control, quality, and other shop personnel to address assignments and resolve machining or quality concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

REQUIRED SKILLSET: Please ensure these are clearly shown in the resume.

  • 2-5 years experience in CNC machining
  • Proficient in blueprint reading
  • Capable of holding close tolerances
  • Skilled in using machining tools such as OD ID micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, and scales.
  • Familiarity with M&G codes
  • Able to operate a seven-axis Integrex CNC machine

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Successful completion of a drug screen and background check.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in Integrex Control Experience and the ability to create one's own set-up.
  • Basic math skills, including but not limited to arithmetic, geometry, and algebra for material fabrication calculations.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Knowledge of various tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, and inserts used on different machines.
