2nd shift Material Handler

Our manufacturing client in Berea, KY is hiring now for immediate start Material Handlers, and they will even help get you certified!
Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday – Thursday, 4:00 pm – 2:30 am (10-hour shifts)
Payrate: $16.65
What you will be doing
- Supply work areas with scheduled production and maintain flow of work throughout the plant areas
- Receive and examine open cartons, boxes, crates, and packages for correctness based off of the bill of lading
- Prepare finished products for shipments and arrange for shipments to be made
- Maintain aisles, storage areas, and remove dunnage, trash, and recyclable materials
- Daily pre and post shift inspection of vehicles used to perform job
- Promote a safe work environment through safe behavior, safe operation of equipment and proper use of (PPE)
- Perform routine cleaning of spray equipment and general housekeeping
- Maintain adherence to quality standards
- Support and help enforce all company policies; including safety, housekeeping, environmental, financial, reporting, and discipline
- Must be able to manage time in such a way as to maintain an acceptable level of attendance.
- Exhibit willingness to participate in training deemed necessary by management to assist in the development of basic and technical skills
What we need from you:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or over
- Must comply with client’s substance abuse and background check policy
- A minimum of six months experience
- A high school diploma or GED
- Proficient computer skills
- Basic math skills
