JOB TITLE:   Powder Coater / Sandblaster
This position is responsible for the daily setup and operation of sandblast / powder coat preparation, wash bay, coating, drying and packaging of product.  Operator will be required to assist other operators various machines as required. This is a cross functional position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspecting and preparing product to be blasted / coated.
Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations.
Account for time and work completed.
Safely operate a forklift to handle materials and completed work.
Make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve manufacturing issues or seek assistance.
Perform routine work to customer requirements on a variety of work centers.
Report and document basic material, production and quality control issues.
Report deficiencies to management.
Participate in equipment preventative maintenance.
Perform daily machine startup and shutdown procedures.
Select correct tooling for the job task.
Load and unload racks.
Maintain daily dust collector service and report equipment deficiencies.

Ensure production schedule follow through as allocated.
Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work area.
Perform machine cleaning to keep equipment at peak performance.
Able to measure parts accurately and familiar with use of precision measurement tools. (First run parts)
Help with training of new hires on machine functions and shop processes.
Monitoring assist and resonator gas levels and recommend supply requirements for daily production
