Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: Frankfort, KY
Hours: 3rd shift Sunday – Thursday 8:00pm – 6:30am
( 5 days a week, 10hr shifts)
Pay: $21.50
DOUBLE TIME PAY FOR ANY OVERTIME HOURS WORKED!
What you'll do:
As a Machine operator, you’ll support production operations by setting up, shutting down, trouble shooting equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This role requires a high level of physical activity, including heavy lifting, standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
- Set up and shut down automated welding and metal forming equipment
- Operating PLC controlled machinery, hydraulic, and mechanical stamping presses, or automated welding systems
- Running production jobs
- Meeting and/or exceeding production, set up, and quality standards
- Conduct regular quality inspections
- Trouble shooting equipment
- Performing change overs
- Performing preventative maintenance
- Perform necessary rework and minor repairs on non-conforming parts
- Reading blueprints
- Reading tape measure
- Regularly heavy lifting up to 50 – 75lbs or more consistently and repetitively
What we need from you:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must comply with client's substance abuse & background policy
- 3 years RECENT machine operator experience
- 5 years of steady work history
- Recent experience in performing machine set ups
- Recent experience Operating equipment such as: PLC controlled machinery, hydraulic, mechanical stamping presses, or automated welding systems
- Experience reading blueprints and tape measures
- Computer knowledge
- Must have experience in metal fabrication or resistance
- Welding experience is a plus
- Must be able to pass an assessment Test: Tape measure reading, math and mechanical comprehension
- Able to regularly lift 50lbs repetitively
- Able to train on 1st shift for about 4 weeks
