Job Title: – Customer Service Associate / Clerical
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant / Clerical to join one of our client's growing teams. They offer competitive wages and comprehensive benefits. Requirement to type 50 WPM and minimum 2 years clerical experience.
In this position you will be performing multiple tasks simultaneously. You will be working in a positive team environment interacting with customers both over the phone and in person.
Shift: 1st Shift/Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Pay: $12.00 per hour (commiserate with experience)
Job Duties of the Customer Service Associate / Clerical:
- Detailed oriented
- Data entry, and experience in Microsoft programs (Word & Excel)
- Professional interaction with customers on the phone and in person
- Compile, sort and verify accuracy of data being entered
- Organize and schedule work with minimum of supervisory direction
- Manage clerical or administrative activities.
- Answer telephones to direct calls or provide information.
- Greet customers, patrons, or visitors.
- Order materials, supplies, or equipment.
- File documents or records.
Job Requirements of Customer Service Associate / Clerical:
- Experience in Microsoft programs
- Attention to detail
- Fast learner, dependable and need good communication skills
- Must have Customer Service experience in an office setting
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen
- Must have a High School Diploma, college degree a plus
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the candidate is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 1-25 pounds.
- Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application information.
- The candidate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
