Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
– Design and oversee production layouts, equipment installation, and assembly lines to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
– Identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction, using data analysis and problem-solving techniques to enhance overall production efficiency.
– Monitor production metrics and key performance indicators, analyzing trends and deviations to proactively address potential issues.
– Participate in new product development projects, providing insights to ensure manufacturability and efficiency during the design phase.
– Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process flowcharts.
– Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure timely maintenance and repair of production equipment, minimizing downtime.
– Lead continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency within the production team.
– Train production staff on new processes, equipment operation, and safety protocols.
– Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to drive ongoing improvements in production processes.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
– Proven experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role within the automotive industry.
– Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and lean manufacturing principles.
– Proficiency in CAD software for process design and layout planning.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
– Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with experience collaborating across cross-functional teams.
– Familiarity with quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
– Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
