Tow Motor Operator (1st Shift)

Tow motor operator position. Dealing with the manufacturing of quality fasteners and cold formed components.

General Responsibilities:
Perform general production duties in a J.I.T. manufacturing system, Employee Involvement, Total Quality, Continuous Improvement, Housekeeping, Elimination of Waste, Communication, Coordination, etc. that meets production and customer requirements. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Moving parts and supplies to workstations 
2. Taking finished product to shipping and receiving department
3. Loading and unloading product 
4. Assist with Machine Set Up if needed
5. Gauging, spc and paperwork, machine operation, small machine repair, forklift operation, housekeeping and safety
6. Interact with engineering as necessary
7. Actively participates in identifying and resolving departmental safety issues. Works with safety manager as needed.
8. Trouble shooting all equipment
9. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
 

1. Forklift and/or tow motor experience
2. Able to reach above shoulder, bend and stoop
3. Able to lift up to 50 pounds
4. Able to wear PPE in areas where applicable and/or dictated by task.
5. Able to use mobile equipment devices
