Maintenance Tech I
Priority Personnel is hiring Maintenance Technicians for a manufacturing company located in San Marcos, TX. These employees will maintain industrial machinery of an assortment of equipment types through execution of preventative maintenance processes, troubleshooting of real-time anomalies, and repairing machinery in a highly safety conscientious environment where teamwork and high performance are paramount.
Pay rate: $23.00-24.00/hour
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday/7:15am-3:30pm (1st shift) and 11:45pm-7:30am (3rd shift)
Job Duties:
- Maintain, repair, troubleshoot equipment: electric/electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and vacuum industrial systems.
- Install, maintain, and tune electrical and instrumentation systems including Variable Frequency Drives (VFD).
- Program and calibrate process control and electrical control systems (RS Logix 5000).
- Must be able to work at heights, operate a motorized forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift. Must beable to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment, i.e.: safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots and other PPE as required by task
- Work in a Team Environment in coordination with Production and facility/maintenance personnel.
- Must possess strong Communications Skills (written and verbal); Support and participate in Company/Departmental Goals.
- Experience in industrial systems with strong emphasis in Programmable Logic Controllers.
Requirements:
- A.S. Degree in a technical field such as: Instrumentation, Robotics, Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Control Systems, etc. plus
- 5 years related industrial maintenance experience.
