As we celebrate National Staffing Employee Week, I want to personally say thank you to the hundreds of people who represent Hamilton-Ryker every day—our associates working at client locations and our internal team working behind the scenes to support them.
For more than 50 years, connecting great people with great opportunities has been at the heart of what we do. But those connections don’t happen because of a company name, a piece of technology, or a contract. They happen because of people.
To our associates: Thank you for showing up, working hard, learning new skills, adapting to new environments, and representing Hamilton-Ryker so well. Whether an assignment is a stepping stone, a flexible way to earn a living, an opportunity to explore a new career, or the beginning of a permanent position, we’re proud to be part of your journey.
To our internal team: Thank you for everything you do to make those opportunities possible. Every recruit, interview, placement, payroll, client conversation, safety check, and problem solved matters. Much of your work happens behind the scenes, but its impact is felt every day by the associates, families, businesses, and communities we serve.
I started my own Hamilton-Ryker career first as an associate working 3rd shift in an automotive supplier plant, then as a recruiter, placing forklift drivers and welders. That experience taught me something I’ve never forgotten: this business is, and always will be, about people.
The way people work continues to change. Flexibility matters more than ever—to employers and employees alike—and as America’s available workforce becomes more challenging to find, the role our industry plays in bringing those two groups together will only become more important.
But none of that happens without you.
So during National Staffing Employee Week, I hope you’ll take a moment to recognize what you do and the difference you make.

On Wednesday February 17th, Hamilton-Ryker begins celebrating 50 years of success. What started as a small professional recruiting office managed by two friends in 1971, has become a multimillion-dollar provider of workforce solutions including staffing, training, apprenticeships, contingent workforce management services, and even federal government IT contract support.
