Warehouse Worker
Priority Personnel is hiring an Experienced Warehouse Worker for a manufacturing company located in San Marcos, TX.
Pay rate: $19/hour
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday/8:30am-5:30pm or until all trucks have departed, OT as required
Job Duties:
- Inform warehouse management of any issues preventing the cycle count completion daily.
- Pull stock items for counting by hand or by using forklift and or pallet jack..
- Move stock to appropriate warehouse locations, manually lifting up to 50 pounds or use forklift when necessary.
- Using counting journal to locate product verifying the quantity and in some cases the serial or batch numbers.
- Wrap and band pallets if required.
- Ensure the accuracy of cycle count journal.
- Building and label kits for stocking.
- Empty trash receptacles as required including recycled cardboard.
- Assist in month-end and year-end processes as needed.
- Report unsafe practices to the supervisor and/or warehouse manager.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist with cycle counts and year-end inventory as required
- Assist in the stocking of inbound materials and posting transfer journals.
- Required to assist teammates as needed
Requirements:
- At least two years of previous warehouse experience.
- Previous RF scanning, cycle counting and product movement.
- Have used a warehouse management system or software for at least two years.
- Equipment operator: Forklift and Easy Reach (Stand Up)
