Exciting Opportunity for Entry – Machine Operators in Plastic Injection Molding! Join a dynamic manufacturing team where your attention to detail and work ethic are valued. As a Machine Operator, you'll operate and monitor plastic injection molding machines, ensuring high-quality production of plastic parts. Your role includes inspecting finished products, performing trimming, light assembly, packaging, and maintaining a clean work environment—all while following safety procedures and work instructions.
Role Overview:
- Operate and oversee plastic injection molding machines
- Inspect parts for defects such as discoloration, cracks, warping, or incomplete molding
- Remove finished parts from machines or conveyors
- Trim excess plastic and conduct light assembly tasks
- Package, label, and count finished products
- Record production and quality data
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Report machine issues, safety concerns, or quality problems to supervisors
Required Skills:
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Capable of occasionally stooping, kneeling, or crouching
- Proficient in handling and manipulating small parts and tools
- Strong attention to detail and focus
- Ability to handle fast-paced work environments
- Good work ethic and reliability
- Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience in manufacturing or plastic molding
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Familiarity with safety procedures and PPE usage
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous manufacturing experience is a plus but not required
Other Requirements:
- Comfortable working in a clean, well-lit environment
- Able to tolerate moderate noise levels
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work around moving mechanical parts
