The Opportunity
Are you the person who spots the missing detail before it becomes a problem? In this role, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes organizer who helps operations and shipping stay accurate, responsive, and ready to roll. You’ll balance reports, data entry, paperwork, communication, and problem-solving in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
Keep information flowing. Run daily reports, enter data, download records, and complete the paperwork that supports production and shipping.
Own the details. Prepare correspondence, forms, counts, and documents with a sharp eye for accuracy and on-time completion.
Stay connected. Answer phones, monitor email, organize completed paperwork, and communicate clearly with internal and external customers.
Solve the small stuff before it gets big. Research and help resolve routine operational or shipping issues.
Make work better. Participate in continuous-improvement and corrective-action activities.
Support a safe, organized workplace. Follow safety and quality procedures and pitch in with 5S, housekeeping, and other duties as needed.
What Success Looks Like
Reports, counts, paperwork, and system entries are accurate and completed on time.
Shipping and production teams have the information they need to meet delivery expectations.
Questions are handled professionally, and routine issues are followed through to resolution.
Safety concerns, hazards, and quality issues are reported promptly.
Time and company resources are used efficiently and responsibly.
What You Bring
High school diploma or equivalent.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Strong computer, data-entry, organization, and clerical skills.
Clear written and verbal communication with a customer-service mindset.
The ability to prioritize, manage deadlines, and stay focused when the pace picks up.
A dependable, safety-minded approach and a willingness to support the team.
Extra Points For
Two or more years of warehouse, shipping, or inventory-control experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with ERP, material-planning, logistics, supply-chain, or related data-entry systems.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This position combines computer-based clerical work with time in an active manufacturing or warehouse environment. Depending on the assignment, the role may involve:
Frequent computer use, keyboarding, reading, and sustained attention to detail.
Standing or walking for extended periods and lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds.
Bending, reaching, crouching, pushing, pulling, climbing, and other physical activity.
Exposure to noise, temperature changes, dust, fumes, machinery, or other industrial conditions.
Required personal protective equipment and variable schedules, including overtime, weekends, holidays, or rotating shifts when business needs require.
