Warehouse Associate
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position involves pulling warehouse orders accurately using picking tickets that identify the required quantities and part numbers.
The ideal candidate is reliable, works well with others, pays close attention to detail, and is comfortable performing physical warehouse tasks.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Pull and prepare warehouse orders using picking tickets.
- Accurately read and match part numbers, quantities, and products.
- Inspect orders for accuracy before completion.
- Walk and stand for extended periods of time.
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Frequently bend, stoop, and reach while performing job duties.
- Push and pull utility carts by hand.
- Sweep floors and maintain a clean, organized work area as needed.
- Operate a service mule when necessary.
- Assist with other warehouse duties and tasks as assigned.
- Work efficiently while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications & Requirements
- MUST BE OKAY WITH EXTREME TEMPERATURES
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately read numbers and part numbers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to perform a variety of warehouse tasks as needed.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, including heat during the summer and cold during the winter.
- Reliable attendance is essential.
- Previous forklift experience is not required; training can be provided for interested employees.
