Job Title: Milling Team Member
Location: Lexington KY
Shift: 2nd shift – PART TIME – Monday – Thursday 4:00 pm – 9:00pm or 5:00pm -10:00pm
Payrate: $15.50
What you will do:
- Company makes open-cast urethane screens for the aggregate, mining and construction industries.
- Screens are made to order by size and dimensions for each client.
- Using a milling machine that cuts the plastic screens to create desired shape
- Using measuring devices to ensure accuracy of cuts, thickness, width etc.
- Lift up to 50lbs repetitively
- Prioritize milling screens brought by Shipping
- Ensuring these are processed before other items.
- Keep a daily count of the number of screens milled and record this in the Milling Report, which should be submitted by the end of the workday.
- Occasional reading and writing information into logs
- Communicating regularly with co-workers
- Maintain a clean and organized milling area, ensuring it is tidy before leaving each day.
- Assist with other task as directed by your supervisor.
What we need from you:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must comply with Client's substance abuse & background policy
- Must have previous manufacturing and/or construction experience
- Must have stable work history in the last 7 years
- Must be able to read tape measure proficiently
- Must be able to work in hot environment during summer months
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs repetitively
- Must have Steel toe shoes/boots
- Must be able to work 1st shift 2-3 weeks for training purposes
- Must have previous experience in warehouse or manufacturing experience
- Must be able to work in Fast paced environment
