Truss Machine Operator
2nd Shift
Hours: 3:30 pm-1:30 am
Pay: $14 hour
Location: Martin, TN
-Adjust machine parts as needed to ensure proper speed, pressure, temperature and amount of materials for quality production.
-Help with changing over the truss coils
-Attention to detail!
-Measure and examine all material before placing it in the machine.
-Monitor and control machines on a daily basis to maintain daily and weekly production schedules.
-Complete quality checks and paperwork every day to maintain production and industry regulations and company standards.
-Make sure the work environment remains safe, uncluttered, clean and well-maintained by performing maintenance and general janitorial duties throughout shifts as time allows.
-Troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain assigned machines and equipment as needed for maximum product quality and operational efficiency.
-Must be able/ability to read blueprints.
-Near perfect attendance is required.
-MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER
-WILL BE REQUIRED TO USE A NAIL GUN DURING DOWN OR SLOW TIMES
Preferred Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or vocational training preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
