Put your MIG welding skills to work! We’re hiring a MIG Welder to attach brackets to axle housings in a manufacturing setting. If you take pride in clean, accurate welds and enjoy hands-on work, we’d like to hear from you!
What You’ll Do
- MIG weld brackets onto axle housings of different sizes.
- Follow welding prints and instructions to set up your work.
- Check your setup and inspect each weld for quality.
- Remove weld slag and change welding wire as needed.
- Utilize a hoist and material-handling equipment to move parts.
- Report equipment issues or defective materials.
- Help with other tasks and rotate between department jobs as needed.
What You’ll Need
- MIG Welding Certification REQUIRED
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Ability to follow process blueprints and work instructions.
- Dependable attendance and the ability to arrive on time.
- Flexibility to work overtime and take on different assignments.
- Background and drug screen may be required
Physical Requirements
This is an active position that requires standing for 8–12-hour shifts, bending and stooping, operating material-handling equipment, lifting up to 30 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds, and pushing or pulling with up to 65 pounds of force.
