Construction Administrator
Priority Personnel is hiring a Construction Administrator for an electrical contracting company located in San Marcos, TX. This is a highly visible role that keeps projects organized, compliant, and moving forward efficiently. You’ll work closely with project managers, superintendents, field crews, and clients on important water/wastewater electrical installations.
Pay rate: $22.00-25.00/hour
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday/8:00am-5:00pm
Job Duties:
- Manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, change orders, daily reports, and as-builts
- Track and maintain project schedules and correspondence
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers
- Assist with permit applications, inspections, and compliance documentation
- Support project closeout and O&M manual preparation
- Maintain organized digital and physical project files
- Help prepare weekly/monthly reports for clients and internal leadership
Required:
- 2+ years of construction administration or project coordination experience (electrical, water/wastewater, or heavy civil preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
