Join Our Team as a Machine Operator – 1st Shift in Production!
Are you detail-oriented with a knack for precision? We’re seeking dedicated Machine Operators to ensure our production lines run smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you will operate machinery to assemble small kits according to exact specifications, perform quality checks, and make minor adjustments as needed. Your skills will directly impact our product quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery to build small kits based on order specifications
- Check and verify kits for quantity, quality, and proper packaging
- Perform quality inspections, including first-piece validation and random checks
- Make minor equipment adjustments for optimal operation
- Document activities accurately and notify supervisors of issues
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Required Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to perform basic math and counting
- Capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with set-up sheets and inspection processes
- Prior manufacturing or assembly experience
Preferred Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a production environment is a plus
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work in a climate-controlled environment
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Commitment to safety protocols and procedures
