As a Hamilton-Ryker associate, your hard work and commitment are key to helping our clients succeed in today’s world.

When you accept an assignment with Hamilton-Ryker, you will complete the Hamilton-Ryker or Client Specific Orientation process which will include:

  • Reviewing Hamilton-Ryker’s benefits, policies and procedures.
  • Discuss Assignment at Client Location
  • Client Safety Orientation (if applicable)
  • The company’s name and location
  • Directions to the worksite
  • Start date, time and projected length of assignment
  • Work hours, lunch and break times
  • Check-in procedures, if required
  • Supervisor’s name
  • Description of what you’ll do on the job
  • Dress code, including any required safety equipment
  • Pay rate
  • An assignment order number to use for payroll purposes
  • An identification number and/or badge if required by the company

Remember, even while you’re on assignment with a client, Hamilton-Ryker is your employer. Please call your Hamilton-Ryker representative if:

  • You’re going to be late or unable to report for work
  • The work you’re asked to do is substantially different from the work described to you by your Hamilton-Ryker representative.
  • The work environment appears unsafe.
  • You’re sick or injured on the job, or feel you can’t complete a job.
  • You’re unavailable for a period of time.
  • You’ve changed your address, telephone number, e-mail address or banking relationship that would impact direct deposit.
  • You’ve learned new skills that may qualify you for more assignments or higher pay.
  • Your assignment ends. (Be sure to call us within 48 hours to let us know of your availability for your next assignment.)
  • You feel Hamilton-Ryker’s Anti-Harassment/Anti-Discrimination Policy is being violated.

ESOP – Employee Stock Option Program
Hamilton-Ryker is an employee owned company. Hamilton-Ryker’s ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) is a retirement plan designed to hold company stock and provide employees and associates with benefits when they retire or leave the company. Vacation Pay/Paid Holidays
Available and varies per assignment. Please ask your Hamilton-Ryker representative if you qualify.

Weekly Pay/Direct Deposit
Hamilton-Ryker will deposit the associate paychecks directly into your check/savings account or pay card weekly.

Associate Health Plan
Hamilton-Ryker provides all employees the ability to enroll in a health plan that meets the individual mandate requirements outlined in the Affordable Care Act.

By enrolling in the coverage, the employee will not be subject to tax penalty. As the employer of record, Hamilton-Ryker assumes liability for any and all ACA related charges or penalties assessed while on assignment.

Hamilton-Ryker’s medical insurance plan includes medical, dental, vision, life, short term disability, critical illness and accident. This plan is available immediately.

Referral Bonus

What types of positions are available to me?

What is the job placement process?
We remain alert to job opportunities in all areas we service – both immediate and future hiring needs. If your skills and your interests fit the types of positions we place, we’ll invite you to go through different screening steps, including a thorough interview. This information helps us better match you to companies that seek your skills and background and opportunities that fit your career goals. I’ve been placed on an assignment, what happens next?
Once you’ve been placed on assignment with Hamilton-Ryker, your Hamilton-Ryker representative will provide you with required paperwork, including direct deposit and IRS forms, as well as information on your employer, a job description and a copy of the Associate Guide, which includes information on Hamilton-Ryker’s benefits, policies and procedures.

What do I need to do to prepare for my assignment?
Your Hamilton-Ryker representative will provide you with all the details needed to prepare you and make you comfortable for your assignment, such as a job description, work guidelines, and first day instructions. What should I bring with me on my first day of assignment?
Please bring information on your new assignment including the contact person/manager you are to report to, your job description and a copy of Hamilton Ryker’s Associate Guide. Do not bring direct deposit or IRS forms with you. These forms should be provided directly to your Hamilton-Ryker representative.

What if I have questions about my assignment?
First, be sure you’ve read, and are comfortable with, the job description provided to you, as well as the policies and procedures outlined in the Associate Guide. If you still have any questions prior to or during your assignment, please contact your Hamilton-Ryker representative.

When do I get paid?
Hamilton-Ryker’s weekly payday is Thursday. For your convenience, we offer complimentary direct deposit payment into your checking or savings account, which ensures prompt payment and saves you valuable time. We also offer pay cards to those who do not have a checking/savings account and direct deposit will be paid weekly to the pay card.

What if I need to cancel my assignment?
If there’s any reason you can’t show up to work or need to cancel your assignment, please promptly contact the Hamilton-Ryker office who placed you on assignment and speak to them in person or leave a voicemail message. Call-in procedures were given to you during orientation.

What benefits am I eligible for?

Does Hamilton-Ryker continue to support me after I start an assignment?
Yes. While your supervisor at the work site is your resource for daily work-related questions, Hamilton-Ryker is your employer and is available to support you if you have any questions or concerns that are related to human resources.

Who do I contact if I have human resources questions or concerns?
Hamilton-Ryker cares about our associates. If you have a human resources question, please contact your Hamilton-Ryker representative. If you feel that your question or concern should be directed to our corporate office, please contact (877) 795-3746 or email, and the HR Manager or Director will respond to your email promptly. Please remember if your question or concern involves you not showing up for an assignment, those calls should be directed to the Hamilton-Ryker office who placed you on that assignment.

What do I do when I finish an assignment?
Your Hamilton-Ryker representative will be aware of your status, and will continuously work to place you on a new assignment. Please let us know if there is any change in your availability, and remember to login in to your account (under Associates, on this website) to keep the most current contact information, recent job experience and any new skills you’ve gained. You can also browse our Job Board section for current opportunities.

How do I refer people I know to Hamilton-Ryker?
We greatly value your help in referring talented individuals to become Hamilton-Ryker associates. In some areas, there are opportunities to receive a referral bonus. Information on Hamilton-Ryker’s referral program will be provided to you in your orientation materials. Call your local Hamilton-Ryker office with any questions.

How do I apply for a new assignment online?
If you’ve found a job you are interested in on Hamilton-Ryker’s Job Board, click the “Apply Now” button and apply for the position. If the opportunity is a good fit for you, a Hamilton-Ryker representative will contact you to discuss next steps, which may include a face-to-face interview. Feel free to contact your local Hamilton-Ryker office to discuss your interest in a new assignment listed on our job board.

Tips for Success

Follow these guidelines to be more productive and make your assignments with Hamilton-Ryker more enjoyable and rewarding:

  • Be on time every day that you work.
  • Ask questions to be sure you understand what you’re being asked to do.
  • Be polite, cooperative and willing to help whenever you’re asked.
  • Maintain confidentiality. You should never discuss your work with anyone other than your supervisor.
  • Notify your Hamilton-Ryker representative of any requested changes in your job duties or if you’re asked to operate equipment or perform a task for which you haven’t been trained.
  • Outside of breaktime or lunchtime, don’t make or receive personal telephone calls at work.
  • Notify your supervisor immediately when you finish your work. Ask if there’s more work you can do. If none is given, use your free time constructively.
  • Wear appropriate attire for your assignment.
  • Don’t walk off the job. If your job is not running smoothly, call Hamilton-Ryker. We’re your employer and can help you with any job-related problem.
  • Submit your hours worked, on time, to prevent delays in your pay.
