Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. As a Custodian, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our campus facilities. Job Duties:
- Cleaning facilities
- Cleaning restrooms
- Cleaning locker rooms
- Cleaning offices
- Mopping, sweeping, buffing
- Other general duties as assigned
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Nice to Have Skills
- Previous experience in custodial or maintenance work
- Knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment and machinery
- Basic first aid and CPR certification
Preferred Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in custodial or maintenance work
Other Requirements
- Must pass a 10-panel drug screen
- Must have a background check with no felony convictions; any convictions require approval
- Must be able to complete TSI paperwork and participate in a phone interview
