Job Title: Milling Team Member
Location: Lexington KY
Shift: 2nd shift Monday – Thursday 4:30pm – 2:30am
** Must train on Day shift Monday – Friday 6:00am – 3:30pm for 2-3 weeks
Payrate: $15.50
What you will do:
- Company makes plastic screens for the coal mine, rock quarry and diamond mine industries.
- Screens are made to order by size and dimensions for each client.
- Ensures efficient production line operations
- Trim excess material from completed screens and other products.
- Assist in setting up molds, materials, and equipment for production.
- Arrange orders on tables according to drawings or supervisor instructions.
- Mark job orders with quantity before pouring for accurate tracking.
- Pour screens with specified materials, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Mark screens with aperture, job order number, and employee initials for identification and traceability.
- Begin cleanup and complete production reports 10 minutes before shift end.
- Monitor product quality, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
- Perform visual inspections of molds and finished products to identify defects.
- Promptly demold screens and place them in the oven within 30 minutes, especially on Fridays.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area for safety and efficiency.
- Operate machinery and equipment according to safety protocols and standard procedures.
- Continuously produce screens throughout the workday until the end of the shift.
- Accurately report all screens produced daily.
- Seek clarification from supervisors if unsure about setup or materials.
- Follow all company policies regarding attendance, punctuality, and conduct.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support warehouse operations.
What we need from you:
- Be at least 18 years of age or older
- Comply with Client's substance abuse & background policy
- Must have Steel toe shoes/boots
- Must have Steady work history in the last 5 yrs
- Must be able to work 1st shift 2-3 weeks for training purposes
- Must have previous experience in warehouse or manufacturing experience
- Must be able to work in Fast paced environment
- Must be able to work in hot environment during summer months
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs repetitively
