Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products by conducting thorough testing and inspections. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct a variety of physical testing of products, including but not limited to rubber ring testing, impact, quick burst, flattening, brabender, long term testing, and other required QA testing
  • Complete paperwork and reports as needed
  • Use a variety of tools and instruments to assess and inspect products including reading a tape measure
  • Check the quality of finished goods, including those loaded for delivery, and returned goods for acceptance to stock
  • Review stocked pipe periodically and identify damaged product to be removed from inventory

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Three years' experience or training/education in production and/or quality control
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, talking, and hearing, with frequent lifting and bending
  • Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms

Nice to Have Skills

  • Additional skills or experiences that would be beneficial but are not mandatory include:
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures and protocols
  • Experience with testing equipment and instruments
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and protocols

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Three years' experience in quality control or a related field
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

Other Requirements

  • Ability to wear a respirator (N-95 Dust Respirator) as required
  • Must be able to work in a rotating shift environment
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and talk for long periods of time
  • Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms
