Job Title: Office Assistant
Shift: 1st, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Payrate: $15 – $16, based on experience
What you will be doing
- Maintain and organize office operations & procedures
- Answering phones
- Receiving deliveries & mail
- Ordering & getting supplies
- Pickup and deliver customer products
- Creating estimates for customers
- Sticker all in lab gages when finished calibration process
- Communicate with customers, employees and individuals
- Taking orders
- Reviewing emails – tracking customer emails, sales & follow up on requests
- Use Accounting software – Billing software, Bookkeeping software, Intuit QuickBooks
- Use Database interface and query software – Excel, QuickBooks, Word
- Assist in scheduling activities – scheduling events, programs, activities
- Assist in reconciling records of bank transactions
- Assist in compiling, copy, sort, and file records of office activities & bank activities
- Assist in calculating, preparing and issuing bills, invoices, account statement and other financial statements
- Other duties as assigned
What we need from you:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or over.
- Must comply with client’s substance abuse policy & background requirements.
- Must have Highschool Diploma/Equivalent – some college preferred
- Must have experience with Accounting software – Billing software; Bookkeeping software; QuickBooks
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook & Word
