What You'll Be Doing:
You'll play a crucial role in our warehouse operations by checking in for shifts, inspecting equipment, and ensuring safety standards are met. Your day-to-day duties include verifying incoming products, safely loading and unloading shipments, maintaining organized storage, assisting with inventory counts, and performing essential equipment maintenance like changing propane tanks and charging batteries—all while adhering to OSHA standards and using PPE.
Required Skills:
- Prior forklift operation experience with a strong focus on safety
- Excellent accuracy in counting and verifying inventory
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and KOS software
- Ability to operate clamps, forks, and attachments confidently
- Effective communication skills and teamwork mentality
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with inventory management and stock rotation
- Additional certifications related to forklift safety
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
Other Requirements:
- Ability to lift and handle loads safely
- Availability for a consistent first-shift schedule with minimal overtime
