Job Description
Summary of Responsibilities / Contributions / Desired Outcomes
CRITICAL TASKS

  • Serve as the primary business contact for large number of clients in and surrounding the Jackson, TN area, including taking request from clients for new job orders, updating the status of current orders and scheduling interviews between Client and Candidates;
  • Build relationships with Clients to encourage new and repeat business
  • Work closely with Hiring Managers at Client facilities in order to maintain continuous knowledge of order status and to identify potential issues and/or opportunities;
  • Manage advertising/marketing/sales avenues (social media, digital, print media)  for the sales and recruiting efforts of the office;
  • Plan aspects for all job fairs, business expos, ways to promote the Hamilton-Ryker name via sales campaigns and relationship-building efforts;
  • Attend all Chamber and Community Events, Professional association events and other client events representing Hamilton-Ryker;
  • Enforce and adhere to the Company’s Risk Management Program and maximize the effective use of all risk management resources.
  • Visit client facility and meet with decision-makers often enough to validate a thorough understanding of their needs and ensure that we are exceeding their expectations.
  • Resolve applicant, employee, and client problems relative to service delivery.
  • Possess knowledge and understanding of all divisions and services of Hamilton-Ryker
  • Conduct him- or herself and lead others in an ethical manner, at all times adhering to the policies and procedures as documented in the Standard Operations Manual.

Other Responsibilities
· Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, and be on call when necessary.
· Must be willing to represent the Company through involvement in community functions and organizations.
· Must be willing and able to travel to client facilities, Company offices, and vendor facilities.
· Must assist other team members in performing their Critical Tasks and Other Responsibilities.
· Must adhere to and enforce all Company policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations; and ensure that all federal, state and local employment laws are followed.
· Must set an excellent example and quality image to all Company personnel, customers, business partners and the public in general; must conduct activities as a Company representative in an ethical and businesslike manner; must maintain and safeguard Company assets and proprietary information.
· Must document activities performed within established Critical Tasks and Other Responsibilities.
Boundaries of Authority
· Expend Company funds within established limits of the purchasing policy.
· Execute the standard Staffing Service Agreement with client bill rate within established gross margin percentage range.
CORE BACKGROUND
· Staffing Industry Experience is Preferred.
Communication Skills
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in the English language.
· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence in the English language.
· Ability to speak effectively in the English language.
Mathematical Skills
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in units of measure to accomplish the computing of pay rates, bill rates, mark-ups, gross margins and gross profit percentages.
Computer and Software Skills
· Ability to type at a level sufficient to meet Critical Tasks and Other Responsibilities of the position.
· Proficiency with at least one word processing software application and one spreadsheet application.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, and social media web platforms
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
· Must have continuous availability of reliable transportation.
· Preferred Certified Staffing Professional Certification.
Physical Demands
· While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to speak and listen. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision and peripheral vision.
