Press Brake Operator
Priority Personnel is hiring a 3rd shift (will train on 1st shift) Press Brake Operator for a manufacturing company located in San Marcos, TX.
Pay rate: $19.00/hour, plus $1.00/hour for shift differential
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday/10:00pm-6:30am. (Train on 2nd shift)
Job Duties:
- Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production order
- Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)
- Feed raw material or parts to manual or semi-automated machines
- Inspect parts with precision measuring tools
- Test operation of machines periodically
- Fix and/or report issues that might occur during the shift
- Verify output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
- Keep records of approved and defective units and/or final products
- Maintain daily logs/records
- Cooperate with co-workers to achieve tasks
- Maintain and clean work environment
- Follow all safety rules, assure others follow safety rules and correct or report any safety issues immediately
Qualifications:
- Professional, organized, dedicated and on time.
- Able to walk, bend, reach, and grip tools.
- Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent communication and personal skills.
- Ability to perform work in a manufactory environment.
