Position: Material Handler/Forklift Operator
Location: Midway, KY
Shift: 1st shift: Monday – Friday: 6:00am – 2:30pm
Mandatory Overtime Required Daily, and occasional Saturdays.
Pay: $15.00 per hour
What you'll do:
We’re looking for an experienced Sit-down Forklift Operator to support production operations by safely moving materials, managing inventory, and assisting with shipping and receiving tasks.
- Operating a Sit-down forklift
- Support and assist the production team by supplying materials to the lines and moving finished product to storage.
- Move finished product to storage areas
- Perform Shipping & Receiving duties
- Stock lines with raw material and empty totes.
- Loading and Unloading of product from trucks, In some cases by hand.
- Scanning Materials and products for shipping
- Use of computer to create shipping documentation
- Maintain FIFO (First in First out) for Finished Good and raw material
- Assist with inventory prep and cycle counting
- Assist and support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What we need from you:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or over
- Must comply with client substance abuse & background policy
- Must have Highschool Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years previous Forklift experience
- Valid Drivers License
- Basic computer skills
