We’re seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist in Collections to join our team. As a key member of the accounts receivable team, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely payments from our customers, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with our Sales Team to optimize cash collection.
Overview
In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for monitoring customer accounts, verifying transactions, and communicating with delinquent customers to request payment. You will also work closely with our Sales Team to identify opportunities for improving cash collection and provide exceptional customer service. Required Skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers
* Proactive problem-solving skills and a willingness to be part of the solution
* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
* Attention to detail and accuracy in work performed
Nice to Have Skills
* Experience with accounts receivable software and systems
* Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
* Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems
* Certification in collections or a related field
Preferred Education and Experience
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
* Three or more years of business experience preferred
* Two or more years of accounts receivable experience preferred
Other Requirements
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
