Job Description
We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated CDL Driver to join our team. This role requires a mechanically inclined individual who is comfortable with physical labor, extended travel, and delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently and represent our company professionally.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT and company regulations
- Load and unload materials, requiring regular physical labor
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic mechanical troubleshooting
- Deliver outstanding customer service at all job sites and delivery locations
- Take direction and work with executives and project managers
- Maintain accurate logs, paperwork, and delivery documentation
- Travel for extended periods, including being away for up to three weeks at a time
- Work weekends and holidays as required
- Fly for work-related assignments when needed with short notice
- Work inside the local warehouse on non-travel days
Requirements
- Valid CDL (Class A Preferred)
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to identify and report vehicle issues
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and loading/unloading up to 75 lbs.
- Extended travel required (up to 3 weeks at a time)
- Weekend and holiday work may be required
- Occasional air travel for assignments
- When not traveling, assist in the Nicholasville warehouse
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Clean driving record
