Order Coordinator
Priority Personnel is hiring a Traffic Coordinator for a manufacturing company located in Lockhart, TX.
Pay rate: $15.50/hour
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri/6:45am-3:45pm with an 1 hour lunch from 12pm-1pm
Job Duties/Requirements:
- Responsible for all shipments that leave the plant, either by booking a truck/hot shot with our carriers, arranging customer pickup or UPS.
- Processes orders in our system
- Handles all logistics for deliveries
- Keeps track of freight cost spreadsheet
- Truck booking and scheduling
- This position is primarily in the office, however multiple times a day they will need to be in the plant, delivering/collecting/reviewing paperwork in the Shipping department and otherwise helping out.
- Good customer service skills are desired, as this position regularly contacts customers by phone, email and in person
- This position requires very strict attention to detail and organization as well as the ability to multi-task and handle constant changes, including updating paperwork regularly
- Other duties as assigned
