Planer Mill Supervisor
Corinth, MS Area
Shift: Willing to work days, nights and weekends as necessary.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Be willing to work nights and weekends as necessary
• Must have experience supervising production crews of 10-20 team members
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Work in both hot and cold temperatures
• Lift 50 lbs and work at heights when needed
• Be able to climb stairs, elevated work platforms, ladders and walk on uneven terrain
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce cost, and maximize value
• Manage budgeting

Required Competencies:

• Ability to accurately follow instructions and have strong organizational and leadership skills
• Detail and result oriented and have excellent communication skills

Education and Experience:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of lumber manufacturing, or 5 years of other industries
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience
• Must have high school, GED, or equivalent
• Post-secondary education preferred
• Lumber grading certification is preferred
