Job Title: Milling Team Member
Location: Lexington KY
Shift: 1st shift Monday – Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Payrate: $15.00/hr
As a Milling Operator, you’ll play a key role in producing custom open-cast urethane screens used in the aggregate, mining, and construction industries. Each product is made to order, so precision and attention to detail are essential.
What you will do:
- Operate a milling machine that cuts the screens to create desired shape
- Read and interpret measurements to ensure accurate dimensions (thickness, width, length)
- Use measuring tools (tape measures, gauges) to verify product quality
- Lift up to 50lbs repetitively
- Prioritize and process materials according to production and shipping needs
- Maintain a daily count of the number of screens milled and record this in the Milling Report
- Milling Report should be submitted by the end of the day
- Occasional reading and writing information into logs
- Communicating regularly with co-workers
- Maintain a clean and organized milling area, ensuring it is tidy before leaving each day.
- Assist with other task as directed by your supervisor.
What we need from you:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must comply with Client's substance abuse and background policy
- Must have previous manufacturing, production and/or construction experience
- Must have stable work history in the last 7 years
- Must be able to read tape measure proficiently
- Must be able to work in hot environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs repetitively
- Must have Steel toe shoes/boots
