You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on blow molding and injection machines, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. The role involves supporting production, prototype runs, and executing minor or emergency mold repairs, all while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Effective communication of equipment concerns and adherence to safety and environmental policies are key to success in this role.
Required Skills:
- Troubleshooting and repair of blow molding and injection machines
- Knowledge of auxiliary equipment maintenance
- Preventative maintenance execution
- Basic mechanical and electrical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to record and communicate daily activities accurately
- Safety equipment use proficiency
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with mold repair
- Crane operation and tow motor licensing
- Familiarity with startup/shutdown procedures for molding equipment
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in manufacturing or maintenance roles preferred
Other Requirements:
- Ability to operate Lock/Tag/Try, crane, and tow motors
- Willingness to perform emergency repairs and assist in various production tasks
