Job Title:  Office Assistant

Location:  Georgetown KY

Shift:  Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm  

Payrate: $18.00 – $20.00 Based on Experience.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to support daily operations for a local Chamber office. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative and accounting experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, community-focused environment.

What you will be doing:

  • Establish, keep, and maintain master schedule of Chamber events, ribbon cuttings, etc.
  • Oversee financial and accounting tasks including QuickBooks and GrowthZone
  • Input and requisite taxes
  • Process accounts Payable and receivable
  • Prepare and complete Bank deposits
  • Reconciliation of all financials records
  • Assist the Executive Director with monthly and annual budget
  • Manage retirement account reporting and weekly deposits
  • Assist with events, including attendance lists
  • Process/collect payments for member and event participants
  • Follow up with speakers, sponsors, and other parties.
  • Serve as on-site staff for the Chamber’s various events. 
  • Draft and/or proof correspondence for Executive Director agenda and minutes.
  • Assist with new and existing member communications, including packets, plaques, and account follow-ups
  • Provide professional communication via phone, email, and written correspondence

What we need from you:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or over
  • Must comply with client’s substance abuse and background policy
  • Must have Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
  • 3-5 years of prior Office or Administrative experience
  • STRONG Computer and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with QuickBooks and financial/accounting processes
  • Experience with Canva or Graphic Design
  • Experience with Share Point
  • Experience with Data Base Software (Growthzone)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
