Join a dynamic manufacturing team as a Process Technician dedicated to optimizing injection molding and production processes within the automotive industry. In this pivotal role, you will provide technical support from new product launches through ongoing production, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to customer specifications. Your expertise will drive process improvements, troubleshoot complex molding issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills:
- High School diploma required; some college coursework preferred
- 3-5 years experience in an injection molding environment, specifically within the automotive sector
- Hands-on experience with engineered grade resins
- Proficiency in operating wide-range molding machines (85–1700 ton presses)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for process deviations, mold startups, sampling, and cycle optimization
- Ability to develop and implement process enhancements
- Familiarity with process control systems and quality standards such as PPAP, TS16949, ISO 14000
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with robotic unloading systems
- Knowledge of advanced product inspection techniques
- Leadership or training experience in a manufacturing setting
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Technical training or associate degree related to manufacturing, plastics, or engineering
- Prior experience supporting new mold startups and process validation

- Open to working 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Ability to document processes and communicate effectively
